Leader: Alan Koo
Senior Consultant, Nagnoi, Inc. – Microsoft MVP
Alan Koo is a Senior Consultant at Nagnoi, Inc. performing specialized work in Performance Management and Enterprise Solutions Development. With more than 10 years of experience, Mr. Koo has consulted for top companies in the public and private sectors in and outside of Puerto Rico. Mr. Koo is the co-founder and current President of our SQL Chapter, PRPASS. He has been awarded Microsoft Most Value Professional (MVP) in SQL Server four years in a row. Mr. Koo is also a thought leader sharing his experiences and knowledge through his blog “Microsoft Business Intelligence and more…” and the technical users communities such as SQL PASS Latam, TechNet and MSDN.

Leader: Guillermo Caicedo
Consultant, Nagnoi, Inc.
Guillermo is an active member and alumni of the Professional Association of SQL Server (PASS) and PRPASS. He currently works as a Consultant at Nagnoi, Inc. and has more than five years of experience as Business Intelligence and applications developer. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and his experiences include Data Warehousing implementations, ETL development using SQL Server Integration Services, metadata modeling and reporting using SQL Server Analysis Services, IBM Cognos and SQL Reporting Services, respectively. Mr. Caicedo has also extensive experience developing comprehensive web-based and mobile solutions.
Leader: Jorge A. Sanchez
Database Analyst, Rock Solid Technologies, Inc.
Jorge Sánchez brings 24 years of experience in the IT industry, currently working for Rock Solid Technologies as Database Analyst. Previously, Mr. Sánchez worked 8 years in Microsoft Puerto Rico as SQL Server Regional Specialist for Caribbean and Central America with direct focus in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Trinidad. Before that, he worked 14 years as Senior Consultant, Developer, and SQL Server Certified Instructor for Microsoft Technologies within the Microsoft Partners Ecosystem. Mr. Sanchez is certified as MCTIP in Database Administration, Database Development and Business Intelligence.
Leader: Jose L. Rivera
Consultant, Nagnoi, Inc.
Jose L. has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and a MBA in Computer Information Systems from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He has over 9 years of experience in the design, development and management of information systems for various industry sectors including Health Care, Banking, Government and Insurance. Thru his work, Jose L help organizations in the development of Data Analytics, Data Warehousing and Business intelligence solutions specialize in Data Integration/ETL and Frond-End Reporting using both Microsoft BI tools and IBM Cognos BI suite. In addition, he shares his knowledge and perspectives on database technologies and BI on his blog, and he is certified as MCTIP in Database Administration, Database Development and Business Intelligence for SQL Server 2008.
Ramon Ponte has over 16 years of experience delivering enterprise architecture and advisory services to medium and large size organizations in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Central America. Industries of expertise include government, education, financial services, insurance, and the telecommunication sector. As part of his current role, one of Ramon’s main responsibilities consists on helping organizations understand how through technological solutions they can achieve their most challenging business and organizational goals.
In Microsoft, Ramon’s area of specialization is Enterprise Application Platforms. This includes, but is not limited, to basic operating system application infrastructure, system architectures, development, application lifecycle management, business intelligence, data management, service oriented architectures and business process management solutions.
Leader: Zaira Vallenilla
Abarca Health
Zaira has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez and a Project Management Certification from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. She has over 7 years of experience in consulting from a strategic and functional business perspective for public and private sectors in Puerto Rico, United States, and Europe. Also she has worked with the management and maintenance of ERP systems such as SAP and MS Dynamics. Her leadership skills led her to actively contribute with various professional organizations such as: College of Engineers and Landsurveyors of Puerto Rico (CIAPR in Spanish), Institute of Computer Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, and Professional Female Engineers and Landsurveyors Commission, and PRPASS.
