Tips and Tricks for Power Pivot and Power View
In this session we will provide an overview of two key tools in Microsoft’s Power BI offering, PowerPivot and Power View, and give tips, tricks, and workarounds that will benefit both novices and regular users of these tools. We will demonstrate how to build and configure a PowerPivot data model for optimal use with Power View and how to define and work with Power View’s visualizations.
Speaker: Adolfo Socorro
Adolfo J. Socorro is a seasoned software professional experienced in the design, development, and implementation of custom-software solutions for public and private organizations. He has been a project leader for many successful and high-impact projects, which have included mobile and web technologies, database design, data analysis, business intelligence, data warehouses, reporting, and data integration. Dr. Socorro is a Microsoft Certified Professional and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Oxford.
