Using and Migrating ETL Solutions to SSIS 2012

Great new features have been implemented in SSIS 2012, and it’s important to understand how they can make your development easier. Join us as we look at changes to usability, deployment, configuration, management, and more. We’ll highlight what’s new in SSIS and show how you how your existing solutions can be adapted to utilize the latest features.


Speaker: Emmanuel Sanchez

Consultant – Nagnoi, Inc.

Emmanuel has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. He has over 4 years of experience as a developer and is currently working as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Nagnoi. Focusing on Business Intelligence and BPM projects, he has worked developing Web Apps, Data Warehouses, Reporting, CRM and Business Process solutions.


SQL Server Deployment Models

Level: 200 (Intermediate)

Audience: IT Professionals

Various options exist for the deployment of Microsoft SQL Server on-premise or in the cloud. During this session we will discuss those deployment models by leveraging the Windows Azure platform.

Speaker: Ramon Ponte


Ramon has over 16 years of experience delivering enterprise architecture and advisory services to medium and large size organizations in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Central America. Industries of expertise include government, education, financial services, insurance, and the telecommunication sector. As part of his current role, one of Ramon’s main responsibilities consists on helping organizations understand how through technological solutions they can achieve their most challenging business and organizational goals.

In Microsoft, Ramon’s area of specialization is Enterprise Application Platforms. This includes, but is not limited, to basic operating system application infrastructure, system architectures, development, application lifecycle management, business intelligence, data management, service oriented architectures and business process management solutions.
